Dennis A. Creed, III Managing Partner
Dennis A. Creed, III specializes in complex business litigation. Dennis has litigated numerous corporate and partnership disputes, involving restrictive covenants (i.e. non-competition agreements and non-solicitation agreements); complex executive compensation agreements, including shareholder rights agreements; and highly complex business dissolution cases, involving corporate officer malfeasances and a variety of fiduciary claims. Dennis is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame Law School, and has been practicing in the Tampa, Florida area since 2007.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dennis' father was a petro-chemical fire-fighter (often referred to as a hell-fighter). Dennis' father's profession caused the family to move to Anchorage, Alaska and then to Saint Petersburg, Florida, where Dennis attended St. John's School on Saint Petersburg Beach and then Seminole High School graduating in 1993. Dennis was actively enlisted in the United States Marine Corps United States Marine Corps from 1994 through 1998. Dennis served in a Marine Boat Raider Company in Alpha Company 1st Battalion, 4th Marines, and as a Team Leader in a Maritime Special Purposes Force. Dennis was deployed overseas twice with two Marine Expeditionary Units, and was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant in 2002.
Dennis has worked in a variety of fields of law, but since working at national labor and employment firm of Ford & Harrison, LLP, he has worked almost exclusively in the field of complex business litigation and employment litigation. Dennis has tried a number of cases including wage and hour cases, and complex corporate disputes. Dennis is admitted to practice in all Florida State courts, and the United States District Courts of the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.
